Dear Friends,
“I now feel that I have a better understanding of my child and how to not only deal with her behavior, but help her to make better choices.”
– Lynnel and Wayne Rosier
Families like the Rosier’s contact Tuesday’s Child every day for help managing their children’s challenging behavior. They are looking for support, guidance and solutions. They find them here.
“I have benefitted greatly from the support and guidance I have received from all the staff at Tuesday’s Child. My trainer was very knowledgeable, understanding, and had a great sense of humor which helps so much when dealing with the difficulties of a difficult child. I now feel more confident and more equipped to deal with the frequent changing behavior of my 4 year old as well as my 2 year old. Tuesday’s Child also provided me with resources to explore once I was done with the program.”
The solutions Tuesday’s Child provides families are practical and effective. They are taught to parents to empower them and their children – setting them up for success at critical ages in their lives.
“Prior to Tuesday’s Child, I was worried that my child’s behavior would get worse. I was
concerned that she would miss out on things that she would not be able to be successful in a classroom setting. I feel somewhat confident today because I have been given tools to help her succeed and resources to tap into in the future.”
Tuesday’s Child provides effective, high-quality, evidence-based services to families, but it doesn’t come cheap. The full cost of programming would far outweigh the amount a typical Chicago family could afford, which is why we are determined to keep the program accessible and affordable for all families.
“The scholarship was pivotal in my decision to go to Tuesday’s Child because without it I don’t know if I would have been enrolled. It is much more appreciated than I think any donor could realize. Thank you so much for offering scholarships.”
Generosity from donors like you help over 200 families like Lynnel and Wayne’s to access our much-needed services. Over 95% of Tuesday’s Child families receive a scholarship for our program, with the average scholarship over $400 per month. This year, we are on target to provide over $130,000 in scholarships to local families.
You can make a difference in the lives of over 200 children and families per year. Please donate $250, $100 or even $25 to Tuesday’s Child.
We are most grateful for your consideration and support.
Sincerely,
Brandon M. Combs
